What is Credit Card Late Fee?
A credit card late fee is a fee charged when your payment is received after the due date. When you have a balance on your credit card, your payment is due a minimum of 21-25 days after the end of your billing cycle. This period is known as grace period. If you make a payment after your due date or you make less than the minimum payment, you’ll be charged a late fee. Different credit card issuers charge different late fee amounts:
