Question: Which Credit Cards does Costco Accept?

Answer: At the moment, Costco only accepts American Express credit cards, Visa and Mastercard Debit cards and Cash.  Starting from April 1, 2016, Costco will only accept Visa Credit Cards in its stores.  You can still use Visa and Mastercard Debit cards and cash.  Citibank signed an agreement to take over the existing Costco credit card business from American Express.

Costco has 671 locations around the world, including 474 in the United States and Puerto Rico.
